According to the study which published in the Journal Nature Communication, scientists have achieved world's fastest internet speed which enough to download 1000 HD movies within a second using a single optical chip.
As per the study, the new finding could fast track telecommunication capacity.
The researchers have recorded a speed of 44.2 terabits per second which is equal to 55,25000 MBps.
In this study they used a single piece of equipment which known as Micro-Comb, which is smaller and lighter than existing telecommunication hardware. This Micro-Comb replaces 80 Lasers.
They said the data can be used self driving cars and future transportation and it can also help to the Education,Finance and e-commerce industries.
