Earth's Magnetic Field is weakening! Know the reason and its future impact on Earth

Earth's magnetic field acts like an invisible shield around the earth and the magnetic field protects us from dangerous things like radiation coming form Sun.

Scientists from European Space Agency are using data which is collected from the Swarm Satellite.

Swarm satellite can identify and measure the various magnetic signals that combine to make up the Earth's magnetic field.

As per the study, the magnetic field is now weakening and the magnetic field around the earth has lost almost 10% of its strength over the last two centuries.

This rapid shrink has been observed in the South Atlantic Anomaly. This change has been observed in this region over the past 50 years.

There may be one more possibility which is earth's pole reversal is coming near.

What is Earth's pole reversal??

Many times over our planet's history. Earth's magnetic poles have reversed. It means , North pole will be shifted to Antarctica and South pole will be shifted to Arctic ocean. This will happen due to the changing of Iron core of Earth.

The last major reversal occurred about 780,000 Years ago and no one knows, when the next total reversal will happen.

Are we all going to die?
