THINGS YOU DID'T KNOW THE PURPOSE OF

  To make our life easy, we use many different things. We use these only but we don't know their actual purpose. Like did you ever think why a Jacket has a small ribbon like button or belt ? or why Escalator does have brush things on the two side ? We are using them daily but never think of them.

So, today I am going to tell you about these things.

No. 1   FRUIT STICKER

In childhood days, we used to collect the stickers on Apple, do you remember ?

Do you have ever thought why the stickers are on Apple ?

Some chemicals might have bad effect to people - they may cause of allergy in our body.

So, by the stickers, it is said that which chemical is used for which fruit to preserve. For example, pesticides for 4 digits, naturally produced for 5 digits. Thus, people would understand  whether the fruit is suitable or not.

No. 2  HOLE IN DONUTS

You must have DONUTS but did you know why DONUTS have hole ?

Donuts makers could make them without hole like bread, then what the hole for ?

In the past, when donuts were prepared in America, chefs would say that the middle kept raw. They could not have the solution. So,they removed the raw side and thus Donuts appears as it is now and it continues.

No. 3  GOLF BALL HOLE

  

You may have question about why Golf balls are not as big as Football or Cricket ball and have small holes on it ?

The Golf Balls may be smaller in size but heavy enough. 

For its weight, it cannot hover for long time. So it has small holes so that it can go through air and hover.

No. 4  STRIP and BUTTON behind JACKET

Do you ever have such jacket that has a few ribbons and like belts and buttons ?

You must have seen it in Krish (Indian movie) movie. But do you know why it does have this kind of thing ?

You would say it is for fashion. Yes, it is but also it has a purpose -

In 19th century, Arabians would have to stay without tent in war. They would have strong struggle against cold.

On the battlefield, they used to fasten their belts by shortening their belts and in night, they used to unbutton their jackets to use as blanket.

No. 5  COIN RIDGES

You must see Coins have ridges. They are different types of ridges.

Do you know why coins have such ridges ?

In 1792, no ridge was given to coins but the sides were getting sharper and causing injury.

That's why the coin makers started ridging to coins and lessen sharpness.

No. 6  ONETIME USE OF CUP CAPS

If you drink juice or tea or cold drinks in a restaurant, you are served in one time cup cap.

The cups have nice caps. You may think the caps are only to protect the cup from dust.

It is true but it has also a purpose.

Did you have tried to put the cup on an uneven surface ?

It would get tilted. But if you put the cap under the cup, you would see the magic.

 The cup would not be tilted.

The cup caps are manufactured as the size the bottom of the cup so that whenever you put cup on it, it would not get tilted. 

So, must put your cup on cap when you would drink.

No. 7  PLANE WINDOW HOLE

The ones who traveled on airplane must have noticed this kind of hole. perhaps, you thought what the hole for ?

The holes are called " Bleed Hole " and they are for your very safety.

Artificial air pressure is produced within plane. Outside air pressure is different from the air pressure in plane and it may cause blast of plane window. So, through the hole, air can come and go and stabilize air pressure and their would have no risk of window blast.

So, when you travel in plane, don't try to put something in it to shut the hole.
