Facebook-owned company Whatsapp has announced a new feature as 'self-destructing' messages. This feature will allow user to send messages that will get automatically deleted after a certain time. This feature will available on Android, iOS, KaiOS and the Web.
More Information About The New Feature Of Whatsapp:
✔WhatsApp disappearing messages will self-destruct after seven days.
✔To enable this new feature, just open
WhatsApp chat >> Tap the contact’s name >> Tap Disappearing Messages >> If prompted, tap Continue >> Select On.
✔WhatsApp users can enable disappearing messages on a per group or contact basis.
✔The option will be available in the contact section of each contact in WhatsApp.
✔Only group admin will be able to enable this feature in a particular group.
✔Users can on/off this feature at anytime as per their wishes.
✔ If any user takes backup before a message disappears, this disappearing message will be stored in the backup and deleted after the user restores from backup.
✔Recipient users can take screenshot of the disappearing messages obviously before they disappear.
✔✔Recipient users can forward this disappearing messages.
✔Apart from messages, photos and videos will be wiped out if users enable this feature and recipient can save those photos and videos at any moment before 7 days.
✔This feature will not work on old messages and only affects new messages instead.
