A good conversation defines your ability of how do you impress people by your talking. A good listener can create a good convenient space for conversation. If you are not a good listener, it does mean your communication skill is zero. A person with good communication skill always hears someone carefully and after completion the speech of the person, he/she replies a meaningful answer. When someone talks to you, you should not stifle the person for stop. In times of group conversation, interacting between two good speeches does not define you as a good listener.
So keep yourself silence when someone is talking and reply a good complement afterward.
